THE STORY OF TADJ

The name “Tadj” connotes crown or crown jewel. The story goes that Persia was a conquering nation. Each time a victory was made a new crown/Tadj was commissioned. When Persia conquered India, so significant was the victory that a huge diamond was placed in the crown. This new crown/Tadj with its attendant diamond was a pride and joy of all of Persia. Everyone wanted to see the new jewel in the crown. People traveled worldwide to see the new Tadj. It became a symbol of strength, beauty and victory not only for Persia, but also for the world. The name Tadj is found in many countries in the Middle East, Africa and India. It is the name of my son, “Tadj.”
